Modern canopies are high-performance devices and miniature technical marvels. If the size and type of canopy are matched to the parachutist, a great deal of fun can be enjoyed very safely. As a general rule, the time of training to obtain a parachute licence is not yet the right time to to swap to an advanced canopy and thereby train the handling. This generally comes later, when you are past the beginner stage or a buying a new canopy. Use the important course to your best advantage. You will jump more confidently and improve your technique. Naturally you will also take a great deal of canopy knowhow away with you. More deatialed information can be found under course contents.

This camp is open to all parachutists with a valid licence. You may of course register for this course as an individual parachutist.

Theory and practice:

immediately after the opening, canopy flying, planning the landing, targets, control, braking, space, flair technique.

La séance aura lieu sur décision météo le soir avant dès 20h au +41 24 425 04 41.

Le cours sera limité à 8 participants.  RDV sur la DZ à Sion à 8h00. (info pour ouvrir la barrière sur le panneau à l'entrée)

Il est conseillé d'avoir un matériel personnel mais ce n'est pas une obligation.

Durant ce cours nous reverrons les bases du pilotage sous voile. Les sauts seront débriefés par vidéo.

- Connaitre et comprendre une voile de parachutisme

- Connaitre les contrôles à faire lors de l'utilisation d'une voile différente

- Apprendre à voler avec une position de vol active

- L'utilisation des commandes et des élévateurs

- Trouver le Flare parfait

- Technique d'atterrissage par vent de travers ou vent arrière

Si le parachutiste maitrise les points précédents, du one to one sera fait en fonction du niveau.
